Sheila Shi has joined China Daily since 2000 and worked for editorial department, marketing department and circulation & advertisement department successively. She has worked as Bureau Chief of China Daily local correspondent office in Jiangxi province and Zhejiang province since 2014. In 2019, she joined China Daily Asia Pacific as Assistant Editor in Chief. Ms. Shi has rich experience and insight on the transformation and integration of traditional media. She has been also dedicated to enhancing the cooperation and communication among media from different countries and regions, organizing several exchanging and training programs to provide platforms for better mutual understanding. Ms. Shi takes charge of China Daily Asia Pacific’s new media, covering daily news, breaking news and cultural features, as part of the company’s efforts to transform from the traditional to the whole media.
